Conference schedule 2024
Our 2024 conference will be held on October 5th. The final schedule is pending, below is an example from last year's conference:

Format: Participants will travel with groups of their peers led by LLNL/Pacific volunteer staff and will attend three different workshops highlighting STEM career topics. Lunch and fun are provided!
Workshops
Workshops provide hands-on science or math activities and enable the students to interact with professionals and science enthusiasts. Attendance per workshop is normally limited to 20 students to keep the instruction personal and interactive.
Workshop selection is not part of the registration. Workshops are arranged by conference staff. Below are some samples.
- Computer Repair and Networking
During this hands-on workshop students have the opportunity to learn about the internal hardware of a computer. They dismantled a working computer, identify and discuss the internal components, and rebuilt the system
- Lego Mindstorms
Students discover the many robots that we use every day. They built, program, and run a real LEGO robot, then participate in a robot war.
