The Science Education program at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory provides two unique summer student experiences. The first is a two-week long, hands-on workshop in biotechnology and bioinformatics for high school students. Students work in a laboratory setting learning real-world skills.
The second workshop is offered to enrolled, degree-pursuing community college students interested in computer-aided design and 3D printing. This week-long workshop gives students the opportunity to create and discover how these techniques can be leveraged into a careers in engineering and computations.
