Science on Saturday is a series of science lectures for middle and high school students. Each topic highlights cutting-edge research at LLNL. Join us for the 2025 Science on Saturday series, "Up in the Air," where we explore cutting-edge research conducted at the Laboratory, showcasing our innovative work with aerial and space-based equipment. Each hour-long presentation will begin at 10 a.m. with a campus tour available after the presentation each Saturday. Worksheets will be made available at the presentations for extra credit opportunities which should be addressed with the student's teacher directly. Presentation and parking are free.
Registration is required. Registration for the upcoming Science on Saturday will be available the Tuesday prior to the event.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m.
The presentation is from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

An optional tour of the Las Positas College campus will be available from 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Space is limited, and on a first-come, first-serve basis.
