Science on Saturday

Science on Saturday is a series of science lectures for middle and high school students. Each topic highlights cutting-edge research at LLNL. The 2024 Science on Saturday series, “Magic of Materials”, will highlight research areas ongoing at the Laboratory focusing on the materials used in experimentation. Download flyer 

Each hour-long presentation will begin at 10 a.m.; doors open at 9:30am. Worksheets will be made available at the presentations for extra credit opportunities which should be addressed with the student's teacher directly. The presentations are free to attend. No registration is required.
