Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is offering a virtual, three-day Manufacturing Workshop for high school students from 3-5 pm daily, April 20-22, 2021. In this workshop, students will be introduced to one of the most highly regarded machinist apprenticeship programs in the state and take virtual tours of the Lab’s advanced manufacturing and machining facilities. This workshop is for students who want to learn what it takes to become a career machinist from the Laboratory’s highly-skilled veteran machinists and apprenticeship program graduates. DOWNLOAD PDF
Who can apply? Any currently enrolled high school student.
When is the deadline? Apply by April 13, 2021.
Students will be notified of acceptance into the workshop by Friday, April 16, 2021.
